Welcome to Hertsmere Borough Council's Webcast Microsite.
What is a Webcast?
A webcast is basically a transmission of audio and video over the internet. Video cameras at some of our council meetings capture the information and you can watch all the action live through your normal internet connection from the comfort of your own home. What meetings do you broadcast?
We currently broadcast all our executive and all our full councils meetings. Use the selections on the right hand side of this page to pick what you would like to watch. What if I miss a meeting?
Don't worry if you miss a meeting - you can still see it for up to six months afterwards using our archive section on the right hand menu under Recent Webcasts. This way you can also use the index points to jump to a specific agenda point or speaker. What else will you use this section for?
Occasionally we will also be using this site to carry out surveys or polls and you will also be able to see any documents or presentations associated with the meetings we show.If you would rather use a text based version of the player then please use the 'text' link at the top of the player window for the meeting you are viewing.
